Pixels of the Past is an open-source, non-commercial project celebrating Australian-made video games. The project enables players to "jump" through reimagined levels, collect fun facts, and discover the legacy of classic Aussie games in this playful tribute to Australia’s gaming history!

The Crossy Road Edition lets players explore a platforming level inspired by the original Crossy Road (2014), collecting facts about the game along the way.

Crossy Road (2014) is an endless arcade hopper developed and published by Hipster Whale, players dodge traffic and hazards as a blocky chicken (or other unlockable characters), the game was heavily inspired by Frogger and released on mobile platforms like IOS and Android.
